BBVA intros Android Pay in Spain

BBVA and Google have announced the launch of Android Pay in Spain, according to a press release.

Android Pay will be operational in the more than 1 million businesses in Spain with contactless technology, according to the announcement. BBVA is the first bank to give its customers the possibility of paying with Android Pay in Spain.

BBVA also has its own bank-branded mobile wallet in the market, called BBVA Wallet.
