The online store Galaxus.ch has been honored as the ecommerce champion of 2017 in Switzerland. The online shop of Digitec Galaxus AG received the most important Swiss E-Commerce Award during the sixth edition of this award show.
The winner was able to convince the jury with “its high level of experience, its social commerce strategy and its wide range”, as the organisator Carpathia wrote. Prior to the award ceremony, many leading retailers, manufacturers and brands attended the Ecommerce Connect conference, which featured keynotes about subjects such as shopping trends, the online food industry and alternative growth drivers.
After the conference, it was finally time for the 16-member jury to reveal the big winners of the Swiss ecommerce industry. The Swiss E-Commerce Champion of 2017 was Digitec Galaxus AG with its online store Galaxus.ch. And then there were awards in some major ecommerce categories:

In 2015, the online couponing website DeinDeal.ch was was rewarded as the Swiss Ecommerce champion, while last year that title went to Ex Libris. Winners from earlier editions are PKZ, Zalando and Freitag.
