Walmart is piloting a new “Check Out With Me” service in lawn and garden centers at more than 350 store locations nationwide.
The service, according to a press release, is aimed at helping customers save time by having associates use cellular devices and Bluetooth printers to check out customers on the spot, eliminating the need for a shopper to go back into a store to buy the garden items.
An associate scans items, swipes the customer’s credit card and provides a print or electronic receipt.
“Check Out With Me is the latest example of our commitment to deliver a more convenient shopping experience that saves our customers time,” stated Walmart in the release.
